Is my Hub's firmware up to date?

SmartThings will occasionally push firmware updates to active Hubs to improve performance.

 

How will I know when my Hub’s firmware is being updated?

If downtime is expected during a firmware update, we strive to inform customers via email at least 24 hours in advance.

 

Can I postpone an update or manually force an update myself?

No, not at this time. SmartThings is working on allowing customers to actively accept firmware updates, but this option is not currently available.

 

How do I check my Hub’s firmware version?

From the SmartThings mobile app:

  1. Tap the menu (Android) / More (iOS)
  2. Tap the Hub
  3. Check the Firmware Version field

 

You can also check your Hub's firmware version through the SmartThings web console:

  1. Go to the SmartThings IDE
  2. Log in using the email and password for your SmartThings account
  3. Click My Hubs
  4. Check the Firmware Version field
