Schlage Keypad Non-Motorized Deadbolt (BE369NX)

The Schlage Keypad Non-Motorized Deadbolt is a Z-Wave-based locking mechanism. The lock CANNOT be locked or unlocked remotely because it is non-motorized. Tapping lock/unlock within the SmartThings app will enable the thumb turn for 10 seconds so that the lock can be physically locked/unlocked. To lock or unlock without a key, the thumb turn must be enabled with a pass code or through the app. The thumb turn will then also require a physical actuation. A key will always work as a manual override. Though remote control of the lock is limited, you can always monitor the locked/unlocked status of the deadbolt with SmartThings.
