How do I make sure my Z-Wave devices are routing optimally in the SmartThings app?

In order to ensure that your Z-Wave mesh network routes optimally, initiate a Z-Wave network repair from the SmartThings mobile app:

  1. From the Home screen, touch Menu (Menu icon) > Devices
  2. Select the Hub
  3. Touch More options (More Options icon)
  4. Touch Z-Wave Utilities
  5. Touch Repair Z-Wave Network

You will see this message: "Z-Wave network repair started."

Do not send any commands to your devices until you receive the "Z-Wave network repair finished" message. This may take up to 15 minutes.
