Connecting Life360 with SmartThings

To connect Life360 with SmartThings

First, sign up through the Life360 iOS or Android app.

Second, in the SmartThings mobile app:

  1. Tap Marketplace
  2. Tap SmartApps
  3. Tap Social
  4. Tap Life360 (Connect)
  5. Tap Install
  6. Enter your Life360 credentials (email address and password)
  7. Tap Sign in
  8. Tap Done
  9. Tap Life360 Circle
  10. Select your Life360 Circle
  11. Tap Next
  12. Tap Life360 Places
  13. Select your Life360 Place
  14. Tap Next
  15. Tap Life360 Users
  16. Check the box(es) next to your Life360 User(s)
  17. Tap Done
  18. Tap Done again

 

To use and configure Life360 within SmartThings

Access your Life360 mobile presence devices from the Things view within the SmartThings mobile app:

  1. Tap My Home
  2. Tap Things
  3. Tap the device

Note: The Life360 (Connect) SmartApp will show up in the SmartApps view. Do not uninstall the Life360 (Connect) SmartApp, or you'll have to reconnect your Life360 devices.

 

To remove Life360 from SmartThings

  1. Tap My Home
  2. Tap Things
  3. Tap the device you wish to remove
  4. Tap the gear icon
  5. Tap Edit Device
  6. Tap Remove
  7. Confirm removal (this cannot be undone)
