SmartSense Moisture Sensor

Note: This article applies to the SmartSense Moisture Sensor. Troubleshooting steps for the Samsung SmartThings Water Leak Sensor (2015 model) are available at the previous link. Or, go here for information about the new Samsung SmartThings Water Leak Sensor.

The SmartSense Moisture Sensor is a leak detector that can be placed near a pipe, in the basement, or under the sink to quickly alert you to leaks. You can tell SmartThings to send you a text message or push notification when water is detected. You can even use our integration with IFTTT to receive a phone call when a potentially damaging leak is detected.

The SmartSense Moisture Sensor also has a temperature sensor. Receive an alert if the temperature drops too low and puts your pipes at risk of freezing.

Note: The new Samsung SmartThings Water Leak Sensor has the same functionality and capabilities as the SmartSense Moisture Sensor.
